Andrew Collins is a scriptwriter, journalist and broadcaster, as well as the author of a trilogy of humorous memoirs “Where Did It All Go Right?”, “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now” and “That’s Me In The Corner”. These days he has teamed up with comedian Richard Herring for a popular podcast which is branching out again into a live gig.
Andrew Collins – broadcaster, author, podcaster, etc. – which do you find most satisfying?
I find whatever I’m doing at any given time the most satisfying. Sometimes I wish I had specialised over 20 years, but I love the unknown
Herring loses his voice in a bizarre cider-based accident. He wants you to keep podcast going – who is your new “other half”?
It would be like Queen without Freddie Mercury. There would be no podcast with RKH. Although Paul Rodgers apparently has an attic.
Are you looking forward to taking the podcast live? Are you not worried it might change the loft-based dynamics?
We’ve done two live podcasts, both lots of fun. This is our first paying gig, so we fear not giving value for money more than anything else
Twiterviews are short interviews via the medium of Twitter and then posted here. We restrict ourselves to 3 questions and answers, all limited to 140 characters.
