Tim Lovejoy is probably most famous for hosting Saturday morning football programme Soccer AM alongside Helen Chamberlain for over a decade. He’s also been a radio DJ and presented a number of other TV programmes. Tim launched internet TV channel Channelbee in 2008.

Soccer AM was very successful – what do you think made it so popular? Style? Timing? Content?

It was successful as we had loads of football clips on it – people love football . It was fun, laid back and didn’t try too hard. excited

ChannelBee looks like a really good website – were you involved from the very start, or were you hired to be the ‘face’?

No it was my idea. I love the internet and spend so much time on it I thought it would be good to get involved and make quality content.

Is it true that you auditioned to be a Blue Peter presenter in the 90s? If so, who got that role?

Yes its true, I had an agent who thought it would be a good idea, she also thought I should get elocution lessons. Tim Vincent got the job
