Robert Llewellyn is probably best known as the robot Kryten in the hit comedy sci-fi show Red Dwarf. He is also a an author, presenter of numerous programs including Scrapheap Challenge, and now the mastermind behind the web hit CarPool. Red Dwarf finally made a comeback after many years, but as a TV show, does this mean the plans for a film are dead?

After 10 years doing nothing then suddenly working together again, I don’t think anything is impossible. New series is more likely though

Where did this CarPool idea come from? And who, dead or alive, would be your top Carpooler?

CarPool idea came from recording David Baddiel when he gave me a lift in 1998. Took me a while to get it together, like 10 years. I most want to have Jodie Foster as a carpooler
