Fierce Leadership, The Servant Leader, Trust Agents, How We Decide, Predictably Irrational and Green Eggs and Ham (an oldie, but a goodie!)

The UK is seeing a rise in people working differently, do you plan to visit the UK to share your Renegade thoughts?

A UK visit might be on the schedule for 2010, but likely for something more substantial than a talk or a signing, so stay tuned

Chris began stand-up in 1995, aged 23, and won the City Life Comedian of the Year that very same year! He subsequently performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, garnering Perrier Comedy Award nominations. Two of his shows were later adapted for Radio 4.

Stand-up, Radio, TV, films – where is your book, stadium tour and film directorial debut?

I already wrote 2 books. My favourite is http://bit.ly/1JUxys I loved writing it. I did a stadium tour, but in 1972, so you won’t remember.

You’ve been in a TV series and film from the mind of Armando Iannucci – how amazing do you find that? How can it be topped?

Unbelievable. If you’d told the student me it’d happen I would have exploded. Toppable only by working with the young Julie Christie.

I’ve seen the film and I love it – it is very warm and funny – so I feel proud.

I love my nerdy followers and friends. It’s supportive like the Internet often isn’t. It’s like art, like a Robert Altman collage movie.

What came first the ‘tache or the idea for the ‘tache show? And why?

The idea was 1st. I am not sure quite how it came about, but started wondering why tache had taken rap for Hitler and if that could change.

Your Headmaster’s Son show got great reviews last year – what do you think in it worked so well in connecting with people?

It was about looking back at embarrassments of adolescence from the safe distance of middle age. And was honest. People identified with it.

You’ve blogged for ages, are a committed twitter-er, and let Andrew Collins into yr house – isn’t that a definition of a geek?

Don’t think all geeks let Collings into their house, but I’m a friend of geeks & geeky things and they in turn (mainly) are friends with me.

Robert Llewellyn is probably best known as the robot Kryten in the hit comedy sci-fi show Red Dwarf. He is also a an author, presenter of numerous programs including Scrapheap Challenge, and now the mastermind behind the web hit CarPool. Red Dwarf finally made a comeback after many years, but as a TV show, does this mean the plans for a film are dead?

After 10 years doing nothing then suddenly working together again, I don’t think anything is impossible. New series is more likely though

Where did this CarPool idea come from? And who, dead or alive, would be your top Carpooler?

CarPool idea came from recording David Baddiel when he gave me a lift in 1998. Took me a while to get it together, like 10 years. I most want to have Jodie Foster as a carpooler

You’ve been ahead of the curve in your net use (llew.co.uk for example). Are you a geek, or just a fan of connecting w/people?

I’m an amateur geek, love plugging stuff together and making it work, used to be mechanical stuff, now it’s digital stuff. Always need help

You are the King of Twitter – do you think Twitter is passing fad or the next step in the net revolution?

Not a passing fad, but a small hummock on the way to future peaks we can only guess at.

You are described as a comedian, author, director, actor, etc. etc. Which one is the most personally satisfying?

Writing is the most satisfying for me. Oh, and the most frustrating. But at least one is always in control. Even of the word count.

Based on your Tweets you are either working or walking – what things are you working on at the moment?

Just written a lecture. Am behind on a screenplay. QI starts next week. To Dublin tomorrow. It’s all madly busy but I like it thus.
