Coombs is the writer and co-producer of web hit ‘Chelsey: OMG!’, a comedy charting the trials and tribulations of an American girl visiting London.

As a comedy writer and performer Coombs has worked with some of the UK’s leading production companies. He is also an accomplished actor, most notably appearing alongside Dame Judi Dench in the BAFTA-nominated BBC drama ‘Can You Hear Me Thinking?’

Nat is currently presenting Five’s ‘NFL’ coverage on Sunday and Monday nights, and is a co-presenter on the channel’s saturday morning.

Clueless with a touch of My name is Earl and mid 80’s Neighbours.Affluent Yank in UK tries to save world. Or Newcastle at the very least.

I became a fan of the Lions after seeing Barry Sanders play – what attracted you to the Dolphins?

Impressive jerry curl mullets,mercurial Dan Marino, and an exciting, cavalier team that never looked like winning the big one.See West Ham.

Since 2005 Porter has suffered from Alopecia causing her to lose much of her hair, which she refused to hide with a wig but instead became a prominent figure in raising awareness of the condition. Her autobiography was published in 2007.

Wikipedia says you tried to join Blue Peter? True? Who got the job instead of you?

I went for an audition for blue peter but I didn’t make it. Quite glad as it was a bit too goodie goodie for me.

You’ve had a famous battle with Alopecia, do you think your honesty about it has helped others?

I think being honest about my alopecia hopefully has helped other sufferers realize they are not alone.

What’s the attraction of twitter for you? And will the (becoming legendary) fluff reports continue?

I love the fact that Twitter is instant. I know I can count on someone to talk to and make me smile at all times of the day/night.

Hardly. The Scum Also Rises starts filming this week for BBC2. It’s not a starring role. I’m a regular but it’s a small part.

Robert Llewellyn is probably best known as the robot Kryten in the hit comedy sci-fi show Red Dwarf. Red Dwarf finally made a comeback after many years, but as a TV show, does this mean the plans for a film are dead?

After 10 years doing nothing then suddenly working together again, I don’t think anything is impossible. New series is more likely though

Where did this CarPool idea come from? And who, dead or alive, would be your top Carpooler?

CarPool idea came from recording David Baddiel when he gave me a lift in 1998. Took me a while to get it together, like 10 years. I most want to have Jodie Foster as a carpooler

You’ve been ahead of the curve in your net use (llew.co.uk for example). Are you a geek, or just a fan of connecting w/people?

I’m an amateur geek, love plugging stuff together and making it work, used to be mechanical stuff, now it’s digital stuff. Always need help

You are the King of Twitter – do you think Twitter is passing fad or the next step in the net revolution?

Not a passing fad, but a small hummock on the way to future peaks we can only guess at.

You are described as a comedian, author, director, actor, etc. etc. Which one is the most personally satisfying?

Writing is the most satisfying for me. Oh, and the most frustrating. But at least one is always in control. Even of the word count.

Based on your Tweets you are either working or walking – what things are you working on at the moment?

Just written a lecture. Am behind on a screenplay. QI starts next week. To Dublin tomorrow. It’s all madly busy but I like it thus.

Your twitter used to be just PR stuff – what/who made you make it personal? Are you addicted yet?

I’m really enjoying twitter. Jonathan Ross got me into it. it’s no pressure broadcasting cause you only talk to people who want to follow.

Is your comedy style the one you really wanted to do? Or did you secretly want to be next Bill Hicks?

 I love Bill Hicks. i’ve actually got very catholic taste in comedy. but i can only do what i do. i didn’t choose my style it chose me.

You are on your Joke Technician tour – how much of your tour material is prepared vs off-the-cuff?

On the best nights its a 70/30 mix of prepared material & audience interaction. my favorite bits are always the funny/clever heckles.
